Old John Glover
(as he is called on a court document) married Sarah Paschal in Old 96 District, Abbeville,
SC. He is next found in Putnam County, Ga. on land records. He and Sarah had
9 children. John P. Glover, Sr. is my gg-great grandfather. Old John Glover was
a man of wealth and land. He left Putnam County and went to Bibb/Crawford County,
Ga. where he lived until his death in 1832. His will is found there. There are
other families that moved with the Glover family. All of this history will be found
