Glover
My Glover line is from the Southern United States.
They are shown a Granville Co. North Carolina Militia Roster for 1754. John Glover married
Sarah Paschal and two of their sons Thomas W. Glover and
John Paschal Glover, Sr. are the lines that I descend through this line of
Glovers. Eli S. Glover son of Thomas W.
Glover married Susan K. Glover daughter of John P.
Glover, Sr. Documented proof of this line is included
here. Wills, marriage, military, deeds, photos and other
documents for Glover and allied families.
Good luck and if you would like to share what you have

The site is structured
with the oldest ancestor on the top and the descendants listed under
their parents.
Example: Andrew, John Paschal, Samuel D. P. William E., Edward
Evans, Nathan O'Neal, Susan K., Mary Jane and Elizabeth Ann Glover
will be linked from their father John Paschal Glover son of John
Glover and Sarah Paschal.
This Glover/Paschal family gave their children Sarah's maiden name
Paschal as a middle name, this tradition was carried down for
several generations. |

Searching for information on Thomas W. Glover and wife Eleander
Frederick. Thomas is the son of John Glover and Sarah Paschal.
Thomas is the brother of John P., Henry, Milton, William P. Glover.
Noting is known about Henry Glover other than he is shown as living
in Jasper county in court documents pertaining to the estate of
Milton P. Glover filed by his wife Mary. |
The earliest records for my Glover family are that of the Glover men
shown on the 1754 Granville, NC militia roster along with the
Paschal and other intermarried surnames. Samuel Paschal is also
shown on the roster. Samuel Paschal's daughter Sarah married
John Glover and is noted in the will of Samuel Paschal 1805
Abbeville, SC. Samuel son of William Paschal was born in
Woodbridge, NJ. There is a possibility my Glover line
was also in NJ/NY/MA/VA before migrating to NC. If you have
information regarding the Glover lines please send them to me and I
will add them the records to this site. Thanks....
