According to Margaret Mahan's son Jack's
obit and death certificate Margaret Mahan' s husband and father of her
children was Robert Pitts. Prentiss Pitts, Margaret's son married Leila Parker in Water Valley, Ms. and for years they lived and traveled between Water Valley, Ms. and Memphis, Tn. until they divorced in Memphis. The focus of this investigation is on the children of Prentiss Pitts by Leila Parker and Prentis Pitts ancestors. I have a little information on Prentis after the divorce and will share what I know. Prentiss died in Shelby County Tennessee from cancer. Leila Parker married 2nd my grandfather Lemuel Whatley in Memphis Tn. and had 4 more children. My mother is the youngest of her children. |
