New! see the map at the bottom of the
page
Before you review the records I have here please take a moment
and think about what is needed to find our ancestors.
Researchers like you are needed to go to the courthouses
and state archives to find original records. Check the library for books
that index the records for the Paschal name. Some of the most important
records can and are where William has not been the principle but only a signer
on a document.
Scan your Paschal original documents and send them to Clarence
or myself. Process of elimination will help us find our William and his family.
Good luck, Margie

Old Map of North Carolina
|
What we know... We know the Paschal family was
in North Carolina and that they lived in the Nutbush area from
the land descriptions. The map below was too big for me to
do in one scan it was way too large in with and length. To
reduce the size will compromise your ability to read the names.
so you can if you like print them off then match them and tape them
together or let me know and for the price of copying and mailing I
will send you one. The Paschal name is not listed this map
which states
"NUT BUSH DISTRICT (included in circle0 famous for
its early colonial homes, spread out along NUT BUSH CREEK. In
1756 Rev. Hugh McAden visited some of these homes, 179 JOSEPH
LINDSAY andothers. In his journal he says: " I found them
a cheerful people without the regular preaching of the Gospel and in
a situation that might be expected, with anabundance of walth and
full leisure for its enjoyment." the planters of this section
raised fine blooded stock and maintained a race course. |
| This is a very interesting map to say the least. President
George Washington's cousin WILLIAM WASHINGTON was the
minister for TAR RIVER BAPTIST CHURCH 206 and a dashing
Calvary leader during the American Revolution. The really
interesting thing is the Glover family is my family and the Daniel
and Williams family is my husband's line. |
The map is one large map, be sure to read the comments about
the families.
I know for a fact that not all of the families are listed on
this map. The Paschal (ll) family is not represented and we have land
