Nathan O'Neal Glover son of John Paschal Glover and Drucilla Evans was born in Putnam County Georgia. Nathan moved with his parents to Crawford County Georgia after his father drew land in Georgia lottery in Crawford. Nathan remained there until about 1840 when he moved along with his parents to Barbour County Alabama. Nathan was married twice. It is thought his first wife died and he married a second time. He had children from both marriages. Nathan served with the 3rd Alabama in the WBTS.
Nathan wrote a letter to his brother Edward E. Glover from Richmond Virginia while he was recuperating from wounds received in battle. Letter

Obituary, Glover- Died, at 289 W. Peachtree street, the residence of her
son-in-law, Mr. John O'Neill, Mrs. Sarah D. Glover, late of Alabama, in the 55th
year of her age. Will be buried at Oakland cemetery this morning at 10:30
o'clock. Friends of the family invited.
