George Evans

George Evans first accounting is in a will filed at the Clarke County Georgia courthouse.  He leaves to his grandsons and his wife Hannah.  George appointed Absalom  Evans, his grandson and son of William Evans.  William Evans died in Putnam County Georgia and Absalom was made her guardian even though her mother Wilmouth was still living.  This connects George to his son William and his grandchildren by William.  We still do not know who Hanna's parents were.  I continue to search for any kind of a record that would show her maiden name.  I descend from George>William>Drucilla Evans.  Drucilla married John Paschal Glover in Putnam County 1812 she lived in Georgia with husband and family until about 1840 when they left Georgia and went to Barbour County Alabama.  Drucilla died in Barbour County and is shown on the 1859 mortality records for Barbour County.  The place of her grave has not been located.  George is as far as I have been able to trace back on this family.
