Co., weaver; will of.  Wife Sarah, sole heiress and executrix of real and 
personal estate, with legacies to daughters Rachel and Sarah.  Witnesses – 
Noah Wheaten, Peter Fitchrandolph, Jane Fitzrandolph, John Roberts, Rebeckah 
Denis.  Proved August 16, 1715.  Lib. 2, p. 32.
 
     1715 Aug. 18.   Inventory of the personal estate, £235.19.4 ½, incl. a 
negro woman £22.10, and “Dangerously dew to the Estate by accounts” £36.10; 
made by John Paine and John Firth.

     1719 Aug. 9.   Dennes, Jonathan, of Cohansey, Salem Co., yeoman; will 
of.  Wife Rachel.  Sons – Phillep, Charles and Samuel.  Real and personal 
estate.  Executors – the wife and son Phillep.  Witnesses – Richard Brick, 
Rachel Craven, Peter Fitchrandolph.  Proved May 31, 1720.  Lib. 2, p. 160.
 
     1720 April 28.   Inventory of the personal estate, £186.7; incl. 150 
bushels of wheat £18.15; made by Thomas Craven and Enoch Moore.
 
     1707 July 26.   Dennes, Dennis, Samuel, of Woodbridge, East Jersey; 
will of.  Wife Mary.  Children – Samuel, sole executor, and Jonathan.  Real 
and personal estate.  Witnesses – Sam’l Shepherd, Tho: Davis, Geo. Ewbanck.

     1719 March 20.   Dennes, Samuel, of Woodbridge, Middlesex Co., yeoman; 
will of.  Wife Mary.  Children – Sarah, Reliance, Elizabeth, Samuel.  Real 
and personal estate.  Executors – the wife and dau. Sarah with Edward 
Freeman and Benjamin Bloomfield as overseers.  Witnesses – Yelverton 
Crowell, Edward Crowell, Moses Rolph.  Proved April 21, 1720.   Lib. A, p.

     1698 April 14.   Dennis, Charles, of Shrowsbery; will of.  Wife Mary.  
Sons – John, Joseph and Philipp; the wife to take care of the orphaned 
children of Franzis and Elisabeth Jackson.  Real and personal estate.  The 
wife executrix with George Curlies and Nathaniell Slocum as assistants.  
Witnesses – Thomas Huitt (?), George Corleis and Remembrance Lippincott.

Gloucester Co.; will of.  Wife ------.  Daughter Rebecca, brother William 
Dennis.  Real and personal estate.  Executors – William Alberson and Simon

which £50.00 stand for 550 acres of land and £64.00 as debts due by 
Nathaniel Pool of Philadelphia, Thomas Brian and Henry Ballinger; made by 
Thomas Sharp and John Mickle.
 
     1715 29th d. 2d. m. (April).   Account of the estate by the executors, 
showing payments to Isaac Norris, Robert Yeldah, Samuel Holt, Elias Hugg as 
executor to Abigaill Stanton, John Estaugh, John Cooper, Amos Ashead, 
Charles Brockden and Thomas Smallwood.
 
     1726 Dec. 10.   Dennis, Denis, John, of Cohansey, Salem Co.; will of.  
Wife Hannah, sole executrixx.  Children – Henry (under age), Hannah, Rachel 
and Sarah.  Real and personal estate.  Witnesses – Thomas Waithman, Peter

Lippincott as grandmother of the three daughters.  Land Freehold, farm in 
Shrewsbury.  Personal property.  Executor son Jacob.  Witnesses – Wm.
