There is and was a mystery about Becky. Her mother gave her away when she was about 5 years old. A great number of years later Becky found her birth mother and was told her father was Palmer Jackson of Ripley Mississippi. When she received her birth certificate it gave Sid Hall as the father. This disappointed her and she always felt betrayed and lied to by her natural mother.

Katrica was killed in a wreck at the foot of the intercoastal bridge in Belle Chasse. She was buried in Louisiana and later exhumed and re-interred by her mother. The graves are as follows.
